Why Is a Longer Board and Train Program Required for Behavioral Cases?

These ingrained behaviors require a specialized technique called Behavioral Adjustment Training (BAT). This process begins in a fully controlled environment where we can manage every trigger and outcome. Over time, we work to desensitize your dog and create new, positive behavioral responses. This approach takes time because we need to establish consistent, well-conditioned responses to your dog’s specific triggers, ensuring long-lasting results.

We take a unique and effective approach to addressing behavioral cases. It all begins with a thorough consultation to evaluate your dog’s behavior and create a tailored training plan. All behavioral cases start with an 8-week reset Board and Train program, though in rare instances, our experts may recommend a longer duration. Once the Board and Train program is complete, we shift our focus to training you, ensuring you have the tools and knowledge to maintain your dog’s progress.
